  The text reads:
  Melancolicus sic in media vertice capitis cautivum rotundum pone. Postea inde <mistake for:  inite ?> carnem usque ad os, et sic perforetur cum trepano a peritissimo medico.
  A trepan is round surgical saw that has teeth along the edge of hollow cylinder. It is used to cut out small pieces of bone, most often from the skull.
