Deponent verbs are verbs that look passive in form but are actually active in meaning. They follow the conjugation of passive verbs exactly. There also exist semi-deponent verbs that are only deponent in past tenses. Practice recognizing deponent verbs by choosing the correct translation.

1. I confess nothing.  

2. They dared to do this.  

3. We are complaining about the cold.  

4. You (s.) fear everything.  

5. He admired their knowledge.
