Latin Grammar: Infinitives

Multo enim gravius est corrumpere fidem, per quam est animae vita, quam falsare pecuniam, per quam temporali vitae subvenitur.

Infinitives

In Latin, as in English, the infinitive a verb can be used as a noun, which is considered single and neuter in gender. Since the infinitive still retains a verb element, it can take a direct object, as in the above example.

Review the formation of the infinitives by identifying the six infinitives of laudo and moneo (assume the neuter form of the participle).
